Joan M. Stigliano, IIDA – Interior Designer, Feng Shui Practitioner, Educator, Mentor, is the principal of Joan Stigliano Interior Planning - Feng Shui & Eco-Design in Locust Valley, New York. Joan specializes in Feng Shui consulting using green and sustainable design to create healthy interiors for residences and professional environments.
Joan’s passion for nature is embodied in her designs through the use of natural architectural elements incorporating colors, patterns, textures, and foliage that transcend a balanced and harmonious relationship within one’s persona and their environs. A practicing Interior Designer for more than twenty years, Joan embraces Feng Shui Principles when working with her clients, and offers complete concepts from Architectural Plan Review through Interior Design and Feng Shui Analysis. She is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association and the US Green Building Council.
Trained in Feng Shui in the Black Sect.Tradition under Grand Master Lin Yun, Joan holds a three-year Masters certificate from the BTB Professional Feng Shui Organization, and is a member of the International Feng Shui Guild. In addition to designing, Joan is an educator at New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury campus, and at The Long Island Feng Shui Institute in Oyster Bay, where she teaches Feng Shui and Green Design. Prior to starting her own business, Joan was an Interior Designer with Bloomingdale’s for nine years. Her design principles and projects appear frequently in numerous trade publications, e-commerce, as well as being featured on television. Joan is presently writing a book on Feng Shui for varied lifestyles of the 21st century.
